Boutique Camp Na otoku, Ljubno ob Savinji - where you will experience camping as it used to be
Camp Na otoku is a small, family owned campsite and the first boutique campsite in the Savinja Valley, which is set on a green island directly by the Savinja River. The location of the Camping On the Island was sometimes better known as Budnova Žaga. We are a stone's throw from the centre Ljubno, an idyllic village where you sometimes get the feeling that time has stood still.
It is a quiet, family-run and well-kept place in beautiful nature, where there is space for camping. set in a meadow and shaded by old fruit trees, walnuts and spruces, where you will be find your peace and connect with nature.
In the campsite, you will find enough space to pitch up to 40 tents, space for caravans. Our accommodations are also waiting for you, for which you will need a just a toothbrush, towel and swimsuit.
Our little boutique paradise is nestled between two streams and in one of the streams the youngest find their paradise in the water on a raft.
For food preparation, a neatly furnished kitchen with gas burners, fridges and barbecue facilities is on site for your use free of charge. In the kitchen you will find everything you need to prepare your tasty meal, from pots to carving knives or utensils where you to brew your coffee. New this year is our very own Sophie's Herb Corner, where you can find cooking herbs absolutely free of charge.
Guests have access to electricity, and each electricity cabinet has water. The campsite has beautifull and clean new toilets and a dishwashing area. However, as we care about the environment and are very ecologically conscious, the campsite has its own biological treatment plant. There is also a supply area for caravans.
A new feature of the campsite is the possibility of renting a furnished tent pitched under a wooden house, wooden flos house is a slightly larger prefabricated wooden bedroom. Stop & sleep accommodation is particularly popular with motorcyclists and cyclists who are camping for short periods and are only in transit.
The location of the campsite offers a great starting point for many excursions, you can guided tours of the Savinja Valley, sport activities such as cycling, fishing, hiking in the Kamnik-Savinja Alps, rafting and of course visiting the excellent taverns offering local food.
